Saku Koivu won’t play tonight. He could be considered day to day soon. Stay tuned. In thr mean time, a couple of changes to be aware about ahead of tonight’s road game in Nashville when the Ducks play the Predators.
Ducks Loan DSP to Hockey Canada
The Anaheim Ducks announced Thursday that the NHL club has loaned right wing Devante Smith-Pelly to Hockey Canada for the upcoming 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship from Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta.
“This is a great opportunity for Devante to continue his development,” said Executive Vice President/General Manager Bob Murray. “Being a candidate for Team Canada in such a prestigious tournament is a great honor. He’s improving each day as an NHL player and we hope he can continue his progress after playing for his country. We fully expect him to play a prominent role in the upcoming tournament for Canada.”
Ducks Bring Kyle and Brandon Back
Kyle Palmieri and Brandon McMillan have been recalled from Syracuse, and Nick Bonino is headed back down to The Crunch.
